If you missed a period due to an ovarian cyst did AF feel like it was ever coming on?

I had cysts that the doctor didn't think were a big deal last month because they were very small. Well here I am Day 4 and no period. I fully felt AF symptoms but there was no AF.

If you ever had a cyst that prevented AF did you feel like she was coming? Did you have any symptoms with the cyst?

Sorry for crashing!!

I have PCOS (I was diagnosed about 4 yrs ago) My ovaries are completely covered in cysts (or at least they were before actually doing something about it) Before going on a BCP that FINALLY regulated my period, I would really only get AF once every 4-5 months or so. And in between my cycles I Literally felt like I was getting AF everyday, but it never came.
EVERYDAY I would wake up bloated, cramping, sore boobs etc. like she was coming and never did. I was completely miserable for many years.

So yes its definitely possible that with the cysts its giving you symptoms but it wont actually come. Have you called your doctor at all??

I was on BCP for many years and when I came off my periods were normal and on time. This month I am not sure if I ovulated and now am on CD 35 with no period. I was at the doctor yesterday and they thought I was pregnant and did a test and it was negative. I am going for blood work next week. I thought my period was coming all week but nothing and this is unlike me to be this late and I am 99.9999% sure I am not pregnant.
