Thanks to all who replied. I am on the Huntington line and I am not aware of any lots anywhere nearby that have free parking. I am not a commuter so never got a sticker but this was a last minute thing that came up and I have to be on a 6:30am train - there is nobody that can drive me or pick me up. It's fine, not a big deal, it STINKS to maybe have to pay a fine but who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and they won't be police on patrol since it's a holiday week. Wishful thinking, I know!
That early I think you can definitely get a daily metered spot across the way from the station house at Huntington. I've done it a few times early weekday mornings with no issues. I would do that over risk a parking ticket which I believe are over $100 in TOH.
