If you send Benadryl into school or daycare
What do you send? A whole bottle with the measuring cup or a few of the perfect measure spoons?
TIA!

i know in public school (at least my district) it has to be in the ORIGINAL packaging. i believe you have to sign a consent form and certain meds won't be given at all(don't know the specifics).

Thanks!
We have the action plan from his allergist and I have both kinds of Benadryl in the house. I figured that the Perfect Measure spoons would be easier for the school but wanted to see what others do. Guess there aren't many kids with allergies in school yet.

Re: If you send Benadryl into school or daycare
When my son was in preschool, they did not require an allergist's note - I just left them instructions and an unopened bottle of the liquid benadryl. However, the perfect measures I think are a better idea if you are on the 1 tsp. dose.
Now that my son is starting kindergarten, I have a note from the allergist detailing the food allergies and the dose of benadryl, which is required. I am sending in the liquid since he is now up to 2 tsp. in a reaction.
