If you swaddle your newborn....
Do you swaddle them before they eat (right before bed time)so they are all ready for bed or do you do it after their feeding. Just wondering!

after she eats. Middle of the night feedings i take her out of the swaddle b/c i'm going to have to change her diaper anyway.

After. Our routine usually went - change diaper, eat, swaddle, put down to sleep. I had a spitter though, so I think we wound up doing it this way so he wouldn't spit up on the swaddle.

Before bed I swaddled, fed, bed.
If she woke up for night feedings, I changed diaper, swaddled, fed, bed.
