If you think you will need an extra camera for your video monitor....
Take my advice and buy it while the model you have is still available! I'm beyond pi$$ed right now. My daughter has the Summer Bestview Handheld Video monitor. She has it for 1 year. Now she wanted to get an additional camera to put in the living room while Kylie is playing in there. Well...........it has been discontinued and you can't purchase an extra camera. She would have needed an extra camera when she has another baby in a few years..so now it looks like she will have to buy a whole new monitor with an additional camera now. This really sucks!! I bought this for her for her baby shower. I can't believe they just discontinue it but dont have additonal cameras available for people who already have the monitor and need a second camera. Sorry for the vent... I called Summer and they said "sorry, we don't have any more stock on these cameras.."

I think that is the one I have as well. Is it the one where the camera can rotate around and is in color?
I just recently bought an extra camera for mine off of Amazon.

did you try calling summer directly? maybe they can sell it to you themselves. from what i hear, they have excellent customer service.

Thank you LSP 2005, but that's unfortunately that's not the camera. Evidently there are a couple of models of the Bestview and the aggravating part is none of them are compatible with each other!! So frustrating. I wrote them an email this morning explaining how I feel. Thanks anyway!

I'm sure if you do an internet search you will probably be able to find an extra camera.
My camera once broke, and the Summer rep actually told me how to look up the camera online. She also told me I'd probably get it cheaper than directly through Summer.
If I remember correctly, you can put the s/n into a google search and it should list where you can find the camera.
