UPDATE: Really upset... Problem with video monitor camera
I've only had the video monitor hooked up for a few weeks now and it all of a sudden stopped turning in one direction.  I have the Summer Best View handheld. I was very lucky to have gotten this to begin with and now it's not worknig in the one direction. I can't afford a new one?  I am so upset.... I LOVE this thing!
ETA: I called Summer and they are sending me a whole new set!   Bad thing is that they no longer allow you to receive the item before they receive yours due to problems they've had with doing so. So now I have to send mine to them and then wait 7-10 business days to receive the new one. That's a LONG time without it!!!  I've never had a video monitor before so I'm spoiled now. I LOVE being able to see her and now I won't be able to. This is going to be so hard during the night! I'm such a worry wart to begin with and now I'm going to worry so much throughout the night.

I agree--it has to still be under warranty. Bring it back to wherever it was purchased or call the company.

The thing is that I purchased it on 2/5/11 but only installed it 3 weeks ago. Will it still be covered? I bought it from Target.com?

I thought you can return things to Target within 90 days in which case you have until May.
If Target doesn't help you, I'd call Summer Infant. I'm sure they have some kind of warranty.

Most companies will stand behind their products and it may have a warranty. My graco snugride handle stopped working less than 6 months after I started using it graco sent me a check in the amount of the carseats. I'd defiently call summer.

Call Summer, their customer service is great! My monitor was having some trouble and I called and since it was still under a year warranty they sent me a new one. The thing was, they wanted me to send mine back before they sent out the new one, I didn't want to be without the monitor for that long so instead I gave them my credit card info in case they didn't get the old one back after sending me the new one. The new one came so quick and it had the shipping label to send my old monitor back.

I bought my summer handheld video monitor in 2008 and the company has replaced it 2 times due to issues. Call them they are GREAT about replacing their monitors! The warranty lasts a year from time of purchase.

This happened to us too and we never ended up doing it bc we didnt want to be with out a monitor for that long.

See if they can charge you for a new one, then credit you back once they receive your old one. Summer offered to do this for us when ours wasn't working right b/c I didn't want to go even a day without one. We never got around to doing it b/c it started working again and has been since.

You are better off just taking it back to the Target store and getting another one. If they don't have it, get a refund and just buy it from BRU or something.
