if you took out your belly button ring

how long did it take for the hole to close (if it closed at all)?

random long stupid story short - my ring came out last night and i didn't have anything to replace it. won't get a new ring till Saturday probably - i had it in for 12/13 years and i don't want it to close.

going two or three days without one is no big deal right?

I've had mine out for a day or two and it was just fine. Especially after having it for so many years!

Hmmm. I took mine out about 5 years ago. I know it is mostly open down there because I can look through it. I wonder if I could still use it. Chat Icon Another inspiration to lose more of my weight.

Re: if you took out your belly button ring

Its been out for over 3 years, and its still not fully closed. I had it in for 13 years before I removed it, if that makes a difference.

If it gives you a problem, just lather it with soap and water..it will ease right in! Chat Icon

I put my new ring in on Monday - at first I had a little trouble but the hole didn't close - which is good because I was NOT gonna go get it redone!

Thanks for all of your responses!

I took mine out about 4 yrs ago due to surgery, but never tried to put it back in, but it still appears to be open.

I think the best time to put it back is after or during a shower, that is how I used to change it and it would slide in with no problem.

I haven't put mine in for years, it never fully healed which stinks so I just gave up on it.

Re: if you took out your belly button ring

i took mine out about a month ago. i figured i would take it out before having a baby b/c i wanted the hole to close and not stretch. besides i'm over it, i've had it pierced since i was 13 Chat Icon

i still have a hole after 1 month, i probably could still get a ring back in...
