if you took the 1 hour glucose test, did you feel sick afterwards?
I made my appointment today, and at first the receptionist wanted to schedule it for the day of my 5 year wedding anniversary, but when I mentioned I would need to make it somewhat early so DH and I could go out to dinner afterwards, she said I should make it for a different day because some women feel sick afterwards and it might ruin our evening. I never heard of that. Anyone feel sick from that test?

I was fine, too. I chose the fruit punch flavor and it was not bad - kind of like those overly sweet juice in a barrel drinks. Just make sure its really cold and drink it fast.

i felt fine i had the orange flavor and honestly it was less sweet than the hi-c orange drink you get at mcdonald's
it was super cold though and the nurse said that helps

made me a bitnauseas..but once i could drink some water- was totally fne.. I also had the orange drink.

Nope. Always felt fine, and I took the 1-hour test 3x and the 3-hour test twice!

i felt a little off - when i ate after, i made sure i ate VERY slowly.. and then i slept - felt much better

I felt sick during the test, but once I was allowed to drink some water, it was better.

I took mine first thing AM and felt a bit off (high from sugar??) for a few hours afterwards, but felt fine by the afternoon.

Same here - I went immediately from the test to 7-11 to get a big bottle of water and a roll and as soon as I got those into me I was fine.

The drink taste wasn't bad. It was like a really sweet Sunkist. I never drink soda or sugar drinks, so I did have a stomach ache afterwards.

It might give you a little stomach ache b/c of all the sugar, but by dinner time you should be fine.
I have taken the 3 hour twice and it's made me fell very tired as well, but again by the evening I was fine.
