If your 6 month old eats 3 meals a day

Can you tell me what times he/she eats and how that fits around nap times?

my 7 1/2 month old had been on this schedule since about 6 months.

7 am bottle
9:30 am cereal and fruit
10-11:30 nap
11:30 am bottle
12-2 - nap
2 pm jar of fruit or veggie
3:30 pm bottle
5:30 pm dinner- jar of veggies or meal
6-7 nap(sometimes)
7:30-8 pm bottle and put to bed

Sometimes the naps are a little different but we just vary her feedings half hour either way depending on the nap

sometimes 3 meals, sometimes 2 meals

(approximate schedule)

7am 8oz bottle
8:30/9am nap
10:30 8oz bottle, couples oz of oatmeal and/or fruit
12:00 nap
1:30/2 8oz bottle, couple oz of fruit or veggies
3:30 nap
5/6 8oz bottle...only sometimes another veggie here, depending upon how hungry she seems
7pm bed

8AM bottle
9:30 jar of breakfast or yogurt
11AM bottle
12:30 jar of food
2PM bottle
5PM bottle
6PM jar of dinner followed by dessert jar (vanilla custard or a fruit)
8PM bottle

I feel like all I do is feed him!

Ann doesn't have a nap "schedule" (I let them do whatever they have to during the week).

I nurse a dream feed anywhere between 2:30-5AM

She's at daycare from 7AM to 4:30PM (sometimes as early as 6:30AM and as late as 5:30PM depending on the day) where she has four bottles, oatmeal and a cube of fruit ("breakfast") and two more cubes - usually both veggies but sometimes a fruit & a veggie ("lunch").

Once she's home she gets another bottle and two more cubes - usually both veggies but sometimes a fruit & a veggie ("dinner").


Based on the report sheet sent home, I'll say breakfast is usually around 9-10AM, lunch around 2PM and she eats dinner when I get home at 7PM.

Thanks everyone. I guess I'm ttrying to figure out if I should feed him before his morning nap or after. We're just on two meals a day at the moment, so we do around 11am, which is after his nap, and then 5pm. We start three meals a day next week, and I can either do 9am or so (ie breakfast) or make the 11am breakfast and do a 2pm lunch...!

I'm sure he doesn't care!
