if your child gets one vaccine at a time....
Are they very behind on their shots?
DS is getting his first vaccine (Dtap) on Thursday, the ped. usually does 2 at a time, I feel more comfortable doing one a time, I'm just wondering if we're going to fall far behind schedule. I've agreed to get his 2nd shot next week but I'm wondering how this is going to work since he has so many shots to get by 6 months.

My ped does 2 at a time, but for combo shots like the DTAP we only do that one (she allows me to follow a different schedule). DS was caught up by 9 months, and DD will be caught up by 10 months. We go monthly for visits. I will also be delaying chicken pox and MMR, personal preference.
