if your child had a reaction to flu shot

cab you please tell me what it was and how long it lasted.

My son is 6 1/2 months and had the shot Mon. It was a well visit, but I called to switch it to a sick visit bc he had what I thought was a pretty decent cough (sounded like his back was rattling) and congestion.

The dr saw him and said cough was just caused by drop in barimetric pressure, and I should give the shots. Normally, I have no problem going against the dr if I dont feel comfortable, but for some reason I let him give it.

That night he had diarrhea (just once), and had a fever for a day and a half...highest was 101.7.

He has been sooooooooo cranky, and he never is....wouldnt sleep last night at all, and he was even sleeping through the night with the cough. During the day, all he does is cry (he never ever is like this).

Soory its so long, but do you think it could be from the shot...he def had pain at the injection site but its getting better.

My DD just got hr flu shot yesterday..She has a fever of 101.3 all day and has been cranky..It also seems like her body may hurt a little. She hasnt had any runs but the dr. told us she could have all these symptoms. I think its normal but go with your gut if you think something is wrong. Hope he feels better!!

I know when I got it one year, my arm was so sore, so I could only imagine how the little ones feel

My DD had the flu shot last week and got a fever as well. Many people have told me that their LO's got a fever with this year's shot.
