if your child is being watched at someone else's house

what kind of baby gear do you need to keep there?

My mom will be watching DS from 2-6 every day at my brother's house when I return to work.

DS will be almost 4 months.

My brother is okay with me bringing and leaving anything in his house.

What kind of extra baby gear do I need?

A swing was a must for us, a crib, diapers, wipes, formula, a few bottles, baby food and a few outfits. HTH

Re: if your child is being watched at someone else's house

My daughter started with our baby sitter when she was 3 months old. I sent an activity mat and play pen for her to keep there. Then in her diaper bag I always kept a thermometer, enough bottles and formla for the day, diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes.......as she got older I sent toys there to stay, videos, and books.

Re: if your child is being watched at someone else's house

I provide all of the following for my babysitter:

swing (we take it home on weekends)
stroller
car seat
pack and play and sheets
exersaucer
extra clothes
bibs
washcloths
blankets
toys (they go back and forth daily)
pacifiers
bottles
formula
diapers
wipes
thermometer
nasal aspirator
nail clipper
nail file
a&d ointment
aquaphor
suntan lotion

She buys toys as she thinks is necessary. I don't expect her to do this and I've tried to discourage it but she insists. She bought DD a baby pool, extra pacifiers and an ugly bonnet that she puts on DD when I'm not around.

I'm bringing over a booster seat next week.
