Re: If your child is having an allergic reaction
She had a little rash on her cheek and then a round rash on her butt (you know down there) Could that be a reaction?

i would think if it was just the rash probably not, but just watch her for other reactions

My DD either breaks out in hives (on her face, back, chest, legs and arms) or her lips swell and she can't breath.

Re: If your child is having an allergic reaction
If she doesn't normally get diaper rashes or any other kinds of rashes then I would think it could be something. Did she have a different food yesterday or today?

She has never had diaper rash. I gave her a new vegetable yesterday - Garden Vegetables - out of everything in it - spinach was the only thing she hasn't had. What I am going to do - wait until the rash goes away and then give it to her again to see if that is what it was.

Re: If your child is having an allergic reaction
A severe allergic reaction will usually present itself within minutes to 1 hour of eating the food.
We discovered that Kevin was allergic to milk when we transitioned him from formula to whole milk. Within 10 minutes of drinking a bottle of milk he was rubbing his nose, breaking out in hives on his stomach, back and neck and vomiting the entire bottle. He did also have a rash on his bottom.
I would hold off on giving the garden veggies again for a few days and let the rash clear up. Then try the veggies again. If the rash comes back I'd check with the doctor. She may just not be able to tolerate all the veggies mixed together.
