If your DC has trouble staying in bed...
try this...
I told DD that if she gets up again, I will turn her nightlight off 
Works everytime

DD doesn't have a nightlight....  We had to lock her door last night because she wouldn't stay in her room. She was doing so well for months. I'm not sure what happened last night....

We have our DD's on a timer. We tell her she's not allowed out until in shuts off. Works like a charm
