I always feel strange sleeping at my MIL and FIL. So I sleep at my BIL and SIL.

my dhs parents dont live far, but yet we have stayed there anyway at certain points, it does not make me uncomfortable.

Last night, we went out with BIL and his long time GF and we stayed at his apartment...45 min. drive, we were tired, it was late and rainy...I was not uncomfortable

My inlaws live only 1/2 hr away. But, over the summer, they pretty much move to their NJ shore home which is over an 1hr away. We stay there all of the time. The house is pretty small and the only uncomfortable part is sharing one bathroom between the four of us. Otherwise, we get our own bedroom and it's fine..

Both of our parents are still on LI... we usually stay with mine since MIL doesn't have a lot of room.
