If your older toddler wouldn't drink milk from anything other than a bottle, what sippy/straw cup did you use for milk when you finally transitioned??

DD is 21 months, still gets 2 bottles/day. One at daycare and one before bed. I want to get her off the one at daycare at least and the teachers said just let us know and we'll do it, bring milk in a sippy.

We haven't tried to transition since a few months ago when she just refused to drink ANY milk from ANY cup and it was too hard for MIL so we gave up.

So, what sippy do you recommend? She drinks water & juice in her straw cups, should I do the same for milk? Or should it be a totally different cup?

Nuby sport sippy. DS loves them. Sometimes he bites the spout and it leaks. I hate when he does that!

When we were moving DS to a cup our ped recommended we use the same cup and vary what we put in it so he wouldn't associate the cup with only juice or water.

I would stick with the cups you already have and she uses.

believe it or not, the take and toss cups. Specifically, the one with Abbie Cadabbie on it. She's 3 1/2 and still uses them. Of course, we're always buying new ones.

Thanks, we were using the take n toss straw cups for water but yesterday daycare said she can open them up and is spilling them everywhere so no more. Today I sent her with water in the nuby sport straw sippy and I also have the playtex twist n click that we use for water too.

Wondering if I should just stick with those for milk too? Or do a regular spout not a straw sippy? I want to try to send her without a bottle tomorrow...

Born Free with the soft spout. It's like a glorified bottle so it was a good transition. Then we went to the Munchkin straw cups .

DD is 26 months and still drinks her milk rfom a bottle, so I am no help! She is not a big drinker of anything, so to me, it's more important that she drinks her milk that what she drinks it out of. She drinks water/juice out of a straw cup. She has no attachment to the bottle whatsoever, so I am OK with it.

DD only ever used the Take and Toss sippy cups. She still uses them now, but she takes the top off half the time, which is fine because she doesn't need a sippy cup at all.

My DS will only drink milk from theses sippy cups. But will drink water , oj or anything else from any onter straw sippy cup. We also like the munckin straw ones too.
