If youre getting a flu shot, are you getting the preservative free one?
I havent done much research but it might be better?

i think if your pregnant or ttc, your OB will only give you the mercury free one..

I went to CVS yesterday and got the mercury free shot. I asked my OB and she said to get the mercury free one if it was available.

I will if it is available. If not, I won't stress it. I got the shot with mercury during my last pregnancy and had no issues. It is such a tiny trace amount that they use that I'm not concerned.

That's good to know. I just happened to read it on the RiteAid website. I dont have an OB yet and my RE doesnt have the shot. So I will be sure to request the preservative free one when I go to RiteAid. Thank you.

Just went to my dr yesterday. He said a flu shot is highly recommended and either shot is fine. I will get the thermisol free shot just for piece of mind.
