DH and I spent a weekend in the city at the Westin Essex House in South Central Park; we went to a cozy Italian restaurant in the area (can't remember the name though) and went to a comedy club one of the nights, too.
It wasn't an all-out vacation or anything, but something nice and simple. Book ahead for the hotel because it can get pricy in the city (you know that already, I'm sure!)
Let us know what you and Matt end up doing, M!!!

Sadly I don't think we are doing anything for ours next month . We are trying to save for when the baby is born and DH has to work.
I can just live vicariously through everyone else tho.

We went to FL - Ft. Lauderdale where my IL's have a house we stayed at, and we took a few days and spent it in Key West.

For our first anniversary we went to Barbados for a week. For our second anniversary we went to Lake Ronkonkoma, lol, (it was my nephew's Confirmation).

We stayed home with our 2 weeks old baby, made dinner, ate our frozen wedding cake, and drank a bottle of wine from our engagement party out of the "common cup" from our wedding. (It was engraved with our names and the date and was our gift from our priest) We also lit our unity candle

For our one year anniversary we went to ceasers cove haven for a 4 day weekend. We had a great time but by the end of the weekend, we just wanted to get out of there..it was too long. For our 3rd and 4th year anniversaries, we went to foxwoods.
