Re: If you've renovated your kitchen, what cabinet manufacturer did you use and are you happy with them?
Not sure the exact measurements - I measured the space once and it was 14 feet by 9 feet...and then we also wanted to do a 6 foot peninsula on the same side as the 14 foot wall......
We wanted to spend under $10k for Granite and Cabinets.

I would need a better idea of the footage you needed... is that 9 x 14 space do you have an oven? dishwasher? sink? range? window? fridge? Or is that 9 x 14 space all cabinets?

Kraftmaid - Consumers.
Our cabinets are OK. Consumers was pretty useless. I pretty much designed our kitchen and we had to have our contractor tweak them (because they're stock cabinets).
I do have to say though that Kraftmaid customer service is outstanding. Really, really good.
I'm tired of griping about my cabinets. I'm sure some posters are tired of me too.
Definitely, def, def, definitely - price out custom.

Without knowing exact layout- meaning how many feet of uppers you have and how many feet of lowers you have and if there are any windows in that 9 x 14 space- and if so, how big they are.. I would say you have anywhere from 35 to 45 feet of kitchen cabinetry.
That would but you just at or slightly under your budget of 10k- but wouldn't include the granite. It would, however, include installation- which would save you on your contractors end- and is probably $$$ that could go towards the granite. Also- if we did the installation, it's capital improvement so no tax on the cabinetry.
These cabinets would be solid 3/4" construction boxes.. maple/ply boxes, solid maples doors... any color you want- no limitations- stains/glazes are hand mixed and made to order.
cabinets would be custom made for your space- so no wasted space, no fillers.
bunch of other stuff is also included (hardware, all pull outs in base cabinets, soft close drawers, etc etc- you can just look at the page on here to see what's included)...

Honestly I think it is out of our budget. We wanted to stay under $10k with both cabinets and granite. I have someone to install them....
Thanks for the offer
