I'll tell ya, nothing feels better than a compliment from a kid!
Because you know they really mean it. I was in the middle of teaching my third graders today, and one of them raised his hand and said, "Mrs. W, this is really a statement, not a question, but you have a beautiful smile!"  It was the sweetest thing, and I could tell her really meant it and wasn't just being a suck up I'll tell ya, it really made my day. I definitely had one of those days, overall, where I was reminded why I teach. I just love the kids, I do. They really bring so much to my life. Even when all the other crap gets in the way, the kids just shine and beam and they are really such an amazing reason to get up in the morning. Anyway, just needed to share that

aww that's sweet!
At the same time, u also know they really mean it when the pop out an insult!
Last week I got really sick at work and I student told me I looked green!
