Re: I'm a little freaked...
Well, if you ARE pregnant, then you'll find a way to make it work! You have nine long months to figure it all out. I'm a true believer that these things happen for a reason. I would have LOVED to have my children so close together! And like I said, you still have nine months to enjoy DD and being a family of three. Good luck and congrats!

Re: I'm a little freaked...
Thanks for the kind words. Don't get me wrong, we want more children I just didn't expect this now. I always look at babies as a blessing. I'm excited but very scared. Thanks again!

Re: I'm a little freaked...
Mine are 16 months apart. I felt the same way you did for like the first trimester. It was all very overwhelming, but then once I started to feel the baby it became more real and I stopped freaking out. There have been rough days, but all in all it's been a lot of fun, and I love watching them play together now. Sarah really loves her little brother, and he idolizes her.

Re: I'm a little freaked...
Please take a deep breath!!! I promise it will all work out. I too thought I was pregnant when my first was five months old. I wasn't, but looking back it wouldn't have been so bad if I were.
I have a different perspective because my kids are five years apart. I didn't think I was ready until my first was close to three and then had trouble holding a pregnancy. In the end I was sorry I waited. So take a deep breath and trust that whatever happens, happens. Or as my grandmother use to say, "If you want to make G*D laugh tell him your plans.

Re: I'm a little freaked...
It's so natural to feel like you are right now, def take things one day at a time
I am/are in your exact situation-except I just had my second-DD was 5 months old when I found out I was surprising pg again, and we hadn't planned til after we sold this place and when DD was at least 2 years old since I only have 2 bedrooms right now.
We focused on the positives and made some adjustments in our plan and my career, but things i know will fall into place again.
When u do find out indeed if you are pg again, let yourself feel what you need to feel, don't hold it or ignore your feelings no matter how crazy u think they are-ot will help in the long run. If you need to talk, FM me!

Re: I'm a little freaked...
When I was 4 months old, my mother found out she was pregnant with my sister. I was 13 months old when my sister was born. We were living in a TINY 2 bedroom apartment in Flushing and stayed there until I was 5.
My mom has always said how DEVASTATED she was to find out she was pg so soon after having her first. BUT- she always follows it up with it was the best *mistake* she's ever made. It was difficult at first, but once we were old enough- it was wonderful that we had each other to play with.
Good luck to you- it will all work out!!

Re: I'm a little freaked...
I am feeling just like you- we found out a few weeks ago that #2 is arriving in April- Matty is not even 9 months yet- they will be 16 months apart.
To be honest, I was not happy about it at first. I had PPD with Matty and had a very hard time. I had JUST stopped nursing and had JUST started to feel better then we found out.
I am feeling better now emotionally, physically, is another issue- very sick and tired- I feel like this pregnancy will be harder physically because my body barely bounced back and Matty has been a poor sleeper since day 1.
But, the way I look at it is that I feel blessed that G-d thought I was doing such a good job as Matty's mommy that he will entrust me with one more of his angels, and I don't believe that he gives us more than we can handle. The next 2-3 years will be hard, but then how much fun with a 3 and 4 year old!
Whatever your situation, it will be okay!

Re: I'm a little freaked...
I feel better now that I've heard that other people are in the same boat. I feel lucky because my first is such an angel of a baby. (what might #2 be like?)
I haven't heard from the doctor yet, my house is extremely clean because I clean when I'm nervous or stressed!
Thanks again for all the good thoughts and kind words!
