I'm baaacccckkkk!!!! ETA...
Im finally home and loving every minute of being a mom....
I know my DH and best friend kept you guys posted, and now I have the chance to tell you all about my delivery..
On Friday I went in for my sceduled c-section.. (Of course I was a nervous wreck...and had gotten no sleep the night before... )
I got to the hospital @ 9:00 they hooked me up to a fetal monitor, took some blood, and just talked to me about the procedure...
Then the anastesiologist (sp?) came in and spoke to me about the spinal and so forth..
Before I knew it...Ryan was getting in his scrubs and I was walking down to the OR
When I go into the OR the had me sit at the edge of the table with my head down and my arms/upper body slouched down...
I felt about three pinches (like real bad bee stings) and then the injected the spinal..which was the worst part of the whole procedure... It wasnt pain that made you cry...but extreme discomfort...and for me a little scary..
It went so fast...before I knew it I was laying down, and my whole body just felt SOOOO good.. Everything just got warm and tingly...It was AWESOME...
Baby Ryan was out in 6 minutes... I didnt even know surgery had begun... it was great!
I didnt feel a thing...afterwards they had given me some drug then made me soooo sick...so I felt no pain at all that first day..but I was so nauseous and out of it...it was horrible!
On Sat. I woke up feeling great..until I stood up..then I started feeling achy...but not horrible pain...they wanted to give me pain meds.. and I didnt even want them...
I walked around...took a shower... and then the pain got worse... I gave in and took the pain killers... and from then on it they administered it every 4 hrs.. so basically Ive been feeling WONDERFUL.
Todays my first day home and med free...and Im moving a little slow...but still feel great!!!!
Baby Ryan is just soo beautiful and Im so in love... Its so strange, seeing him the first time...I just felt as if I loved him my whole life.. Everything he does amazes me... This is the best feeling ever!!!!
Breast feedings been a little difficult.. but I really enjoy it.. I think Ill enjoy it even more when I can get him to latch on a little better
Girls I cant thank you enough for EVERYTHING.. I was able to truely understand my pregnancy and not be a total worry wart..because I was experiencing these things with you!! I cant wait to see all of your beautiful babies...

I am so happy for you and your hubby, and little Ryan is just adorable!! He is the spitting image of Daddy Ryan (IMO) He's sooo cute  And you look great!!
I'm so glad that your delivery went so well and that you are all doing good... and now your Dad will be able to spend time with his grandson, that is the best part

Ooo yea...I left out the best part...
IM NOT ITCHY ANYMORE!!!
Baby Ryan was 7lbs 12 oz..
The Dr.'s words as he was taking him out... wow he's a chubby guy...you would never been able to wait this out 3 weeks...
And yes... R.J is all his daddy..here's Daddys baby pic and a pic of Baby RJ to compare...
All this work..and he dosent even resemble me Image Attachment(s):
