I'm back from Paris and Amsterdam! and I have pics *update* more pics added
WOW WOW WOW about sums up our trip. What amazing cities!!!!!!! and what an amzing experience! I will write a review later when I have time. But I wanted to share a highlight of some of our 1000 pictures.

OMG D ! Great pics!! I got emotional when I saw your grandfather's burial place. 
Looks like a great vacay! Someday I hope to go there too!

it was very emotional and special. I will never ever forget that experience!
he was killed right after WWII ended, in Germany. he was buried there, I don't know why, no one does. my Grandmother tried to have him moved to Israel many times, but the British military wouldn't do it.

no, he was in the Jewish Brigades, part of the British Military. he was killed in 1946

DH and i went to Amsterdam in 05 and to Paris this past Feb. I love both those cities so much.

I see you snuck a pic of the Mona Lisa! They were kicking people out who had cameras when I was there 2 years ago!!
Paris is amazing and we can't wait for our trip to go back in April.
Amsterdam looks great too!! We want to get there one day!
