Whenever I feel really depressed, I remember this quote my grandmother used to say "whatever you are going through, remember, someone else has gone through the same thing and survived" - i used to hate when she said that b/c I thought it lacked a little compassion, but now i find it reassuring that whatever problem i have now, i will be able to get through it.
