I'm sad, a bit worried and need to vent...
So... last Thursday went for a sonogram and everything looked great! HB good, baby looked so cute (im 11w6d today)
I ordered the fetal haert monitor and got it Saturday - tried to find the HB myself and couldn't - so that made me so sad - and a bit worried - but more sad...
My M/S and nausea was starting to finally get better... and I noticed my lower abdomen was starting to stick out a bit - yay!
But last night - literally 5 minutes after dinner - I had to RUN to the bathroom and give it all up - got real sick and started feeling nauseous again...
This morning I woke up and the (what I thought was a baby belly) is practically gone and i TOTALLY don't feel pregnant....
I'm sad, worried, a bit scared and a bunch of other feelings...
I have my NT test Friday so I hope I hear my LO's heartbeat then
Thanks for the venting opportunity ladies

this is totally normal! one day I would be sick as a dog and the next be perfect as can be. Try not to think about it so much ((although I know its soo hard not too)).
Goodluck on your NT test and to see the baby again!!

It might be hard to pick it up with that doppler machine... even at my 14 week appt. my won DR. who is a professional had a hard time finding the heartbeat... so dont worry!!!

at 11 wks your LO is so tiny that it is so hard to find the HB on your own - dont let that scare you!!!
hope you are feeling better

As far as not being able to find the hb with the doppler, you are VERY early still. Even an OB would have a difficult time finding the hb with a doppler this early.
At my 1st OB appointment at 10 weeks, My OB didn't even attempt to listen.

Thanks ladies... I just can't shake the feeling like something bad can happen at anytime.. its really effecting me and the possibility of enjoying this pregnancy.
I am such a worrier to begin with - but I wish I could just stop with the "what-ifs" all the time...
Anyone else crazy like me???

Yes. I worry every day. Every single day. I don't even feel excited about buying things for the baby or doing the room because I fear the worst. I would never get a doppler for that reason- as much as I'd like reassurance- there is too much room for error in findin the HB as a non professional- and I'd make myself more crazy.
I just don't like the long lags between appts- I feel like anything can go wrong that whole month in between seeing the Dr and hearing the heartbeat. I'd also love more sonograms because how do I know she is growing properly after the 20 week sono, you know? I am carrying so small that I fear something is wrong.
So I understand your feelings- especially early on like that.
ETA- I also have anterio placenta- and if you have that - it would be even harder to locate the HB that early with the doppler. So try not to stress!

Re: I'm sad, a bit worried and need to vent...
I am totally with you....I get nervous all the time that something is wrong. Now, I have a belly (17wks), so that helps a bit.
11wks is early to hear the hb yourself. As for the sickness, mine didn't subside until about 14wks....and even now, I still get sick from certain things or if I eat too much.
Don't stress too much....stay calm for your little one!

Re: I'm sad, a bit worried and need to vent...
Even at 20 weeks my doctor STILL has a hard time finding my LOs heartbeat. He runs away from the doppler every time. My second DD was the same way.
Every OB appointment since 12 weeks has had me holding my breath for a good few minutes until she "corners him" and gets the heartbeat. Now I can actually feel him moving around so thats reassuring.
Personally I'd stay away from those DIY dopplers for that very reason- too much added stress.

Re: I'm sad, a bit worried and need to vent...
My doctor wouldn't even try to find the HB at 11 weeks... this is why we shouldn't try it ourselves.
Heck, a new nurse couldn't find the HB at my 22 week appointment because she didn't know what she was doing!! Those things are terrible for your emotional state!
There were a lot of times up until my started kicking every day that I could easily forget that I was pregnant. It's normal. Please please please try not to worry!

At 14 weeks my Dr. had a very hard time finding it with the doppler. I was freaked out but eventually he found it. He said sometimes it takes time to locate it. I wouldn't worry.
