I'm so angry! vent..
My DD's christening is in 2 weeks.. I just sent SIL an email verifying that she and her husband are attending, because when we last spoke she mentioned that it was visiting day at her kids' camp. Now, all of a sudden she tells me she may need to go to Hong Kong with her DH! W T F??? She's known about this since I booked it back in MARCH!!! And she doesn't work, she's a SAHM so really if her DH is going to Hong Kong for business there is no real reason why she needs to go with him. And if it's not for business then she CERTAINLY shouldn't be going. I can't tell DH because he will be so upset, and there's always the chance that she will show up  so no need to create hard feelings for nothing. I hate this. My daughter deserves so much better from her 'family'.

I'm sorry your angry. It stinks when you don't feel supported by your family. 
Maybe this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for her to go to Hong Kong though?
Maybe her DH is going for business but she's able to go along?

If it was a once in a lifetime opportunity I may be a little more understanding. But it's not. Her DH has been to Hong Kong a dozen times. She can tag along on the next trip. Her niece's christening IS a one time thing though. But obviously it doesn't matter to her.
