I'm stressed... my baby is staying overnight in the NICU
She is jaundiced... so we had to admit her today... I'm never gonna sleep and I'm on the verge of a panic attack... I hope she gets to go home tommorrow! I could use some prayers!!

She is exactly where she needs to be & getting 24 hour care.

We had to return to the hospital too with DD because of her jaundice. My pediatrician called it a "diagnosis of inconvenience" because they almost always respond to phototherapy. She'll be ok!

I did too...but I got to stay with ehr since we had to go back to Peds and not te nursery since she wasa a "dirty baby" from already being outside...

dont stree, im sure she will be fine and home soon...PS- a TON of babies get jaundice from the big dose of the vitamin K shot that they give them when they are born- its a real overload on the liver not being able to break it down fast and all that...=jaundice....

My DS was in the NICU after delivery and had to stay an extra night for his jaundice. The phototherapy tends to work fast! to you and your  Praying she is home with you soon!!
