Ok, so with a bottle, babies usually drink until they're done with it...in one sitting (well, besides my DD who tends to be a sipper Chat Icon )

So how does it work with a regular sippy cup? Does your child sit down and finish the whole cup of milk? Or do they take a few sips, then stop, then go back to it a while later?

I'm sure it's a dumb question, but I'm clueless about it Chat Icon

MIkayla will drink some and then come back in a bit and drink some more. After about 1 - 1 1/2 hours, I will dump it

Oh, ok. That's what I was wondering, how long you leave it out for, or if you run & put it back in the fridge in between...I could see that getting a bit crazy. Thanks!

Just depends...a couple of times a day she downs the whole thing, the other times I give her cup she may only drink a few sips.

If I give it to them during a meal, they gulp it down. If it's with a snack or just to cool them down, they tend to sip.

I give DD a cup wtih milk with breakfast and dinner...sometimes she drinks the whole thing, sometimes she doesn't. I know she is easting plenty of dairy from other sources (cheese/yogurt/eggs), so I don't stress it.
