I wish I had your dedication to healthy eating. I admire that you are so stead fast in your desire to eat so healthy.

No judgment from me, just a little envy.

Ditto!
I had grand plans before she was born and didn't stick to my guns when she became picky.

Good for you for raising your daughter to eat so healthy.

If you don;t mind, can you FM me your home address? I would like to send DH to you for a few weeks so he can learn that a green vegetable will not poison him Chat Icon . He thinks it is so funny that DS prefers carrots and hummus to chips!Chat Icon

Felice...I am just like your DH...I don't eat vegetables. I blame my mother Chat Icon Chat Icon Seriouslly...my mom doesn't eat veggies (my dad eats anything!). My dad was always working when we were kids, and mom didn't make us anything for dinner that she didn't eat, so we were not exposed to anything. I think if I was given these types of things when I was younger, I wouldn't be the picky eater I am today.

I am trying to give DD more options that I have...she is a pretty good eater.

Beth...I envy your healthy eating and wish I could be that way Chat Icon

Re: I'm tired of the judgment!

Thanks for writing this - I feel the same way! My DD is 14 months old & does not drink juice or eat anything "sugary", fried, etc. She could live on broccoli & string beans! She has eaten (& liked) squiid and octopus (but won't touch potatoes)!

I am always hassled by other family members about it. They don't get it.

You should be applauded for the diet your daughter follows willingly. And all those people who are telling you otherwise are azzholes! Chat Icon
