Have you heard anything about either of these? I read good things about both! I can't decide which one to register for. We are having a Chat Icon

I voted for number two because it looks nicer. Don't know anything about either though, so not sure that's what you want to base your decision on, LOL.

We have the Starlight swing by FP. DS used every single day for 10 months. It was worth its weight in gold for those first several weeks!

It is so pretty and even the music is soothing and not at all annoying.

It was hands down our fav baby product and I have nothing but positive things to say. It held up so well with Chat Icon I can't wait to use it withChat Icon

Re: I'm torn between two swings, need opinions

I have a Graco swing at home, just a regular model- not the sweetpeace. When I was at my friend's house, I put DD in her FP papasan swing and the child slept so soundly and cozily, that I told hubby that I wanted to get one too!! I ended up not getting one since ours was fine but may get one for DC#2 b/c I love it so much! Chat Icon

the FP papsan is AWESOME. the baby will love the lights and the music and, later, the mobile.

HIGHLY recommend!

And also keep in mind, that the FP papasan allows the swinging motion to be side to side or front to back. I also thought this was a great feature! Chat Icon

I originally registered for sweet peace, but switched it because it only swings from side to side.

I switched to FP Parpasan, so these reviews are making me very happy!
I also think it's cuter Chat Icon

Re: I'm torn between two swings, need opinions

I've never seen the first one, but the second one is very similar to the one we have (papasan, but not the starlight) and I loved it.

Also, I believe on the starlight model you can actually plug the swing in and save yourself all of the D batteries which is great.

Re: I'm torn between two swings, need opinions

I remember looking into #2 when I was PG with DD and reading some bad reviews about it.

You might want to check them out.

Re: I'm torn between two swings, need opinions

i suggest anything that has a PLUG! i beleive the second one has a plug. I think that is the one i bought my sister when she had my nephew. Mine doesnt have a plug and those things eat batteries like nothing.

thanks, I haven't seen any bad reviews, even on Amazon. I will double check though. Are you sure it was the starlight model. There were a few different ones.

I had it on my registry at BBB, then I saw that it was a rollback at walmart this week so I just bought it there for more than $50 less! I love a good deal Chat Icon
