I never liked them either b/c I just hate when there is hype about anything not so great, it just turns me off....however, then someone bought me one and now I am excited that I have a bead from all my family members...which they picked out just for me. I actually like the anklet much better than the bracelet...looks nice w/summer shoes/flip flops. So I am no longer a hater

I love mine, but I'm so big on all my jewelry meaning something. So I don't have any charms that are just pretty, they all relate to events in my life.

It's not my style so it does not even matter how much they cost in the first place. But I see no problems for people who like them.
I do find them outrageous expensive though. I cannot see myself paying HUNDRED of dollards for a silver bracelet with some charms/beads. Like each bead is $60+ and up. I have a large wrist. Regardless it's not for me.
But I don't like Vera Bradley either. They remind me of knitting bags. But hey.... we all have different tastes so that's all good. People may hate what I like.

they are not my taste either!
They are similar to those bracelets that were trendy about 4 years ago. They were like little metal tiles, and you replaced the plain tiles with ones with initials or symbols that meant something to you.
Does anyone know what I am talking about?

I LOVE mine. It tells a story. Every charm was a gift and there is a meaning behind it I also have the double leather bracelet.

but they are not for me..and overpriced to boot...
id rather have me a piece of david yurman or judith ripka to remember my special moments!
