Imaginary friends - Toddler moms
Just curious if any of your other kids have imaginary friends?
Talia has one - her name is 'mouse' and mouse goes everywhere with us. Lately I have to change mouses diaper and better yet she made me buy mouse a toothbrush - so now I am brushing her teeth every night too!
I think it is adorable, and creative, and it totally makes me laugh!!
Tell me about your imaginary friends!!

At night, Jared tells me that he has penguins that visit him in his room.
I guess that's better than monsters...

Hayley talks to her "friends" all the time. They are the kids in her class and she plays with them, colors with them and watches tv with them...Hey as long as they don't make a mess I don't care

Patrick had a friend George. He lived in the bathroom under the sink. I can tell you that George did plenty of naughty things in my house & tried to blame my innocent son. LOL
I was so happy when he "moved away"

Re: Imaginary friends - Toddler moms
My son isn't quite old enough to start with imaginary friends but I think these stories are SO cute
Sidenote, but I TOTALLY remember all of my imaginary friends from when I was about 3 or 4. My Mom sometimes brings it up since my nephew has an imaginary friend and she'll talk about my 'friends' like it was yesterday Of course back when I was a kid my Mom thought it was "odd" that I was 'playing and talking' to imaginary friends, until she spoke to the doctor and he said it was normal and showed creativity
I had my two "favorite" imaginary friends (their names were "Kitsie and Butchie" and they were actually a female cat and male dog, respectively, but they talked and acted human of course )
Actually if I'm fessing up here, I had a total of 6 'friends' and can remember to this day and can even recall their names: Kitsie, Butchie, Donna, Ralph, Shala (?) and Mark Oh and yes I blamed anything and everything I was doing (i.e., misbehaving) on them....
So funny the things you remember so vividly !!

Re: Imaginary friends - Toddler moms
Nicholas had an imaginary friend for YEARS.
Started when he was about 2.5 and I was pregnant with Joey.
Nicholas chatted with his friend ALLLLLL the time.
HE came everywhere with us.
I sat on him once at the dinner table.
I thought all was cute, until Nicholas told me his friend's name.
Ready for this one................
His name was..........
FILTHY
No idea why. But it creeped me out a bit.
Glad to say Filthy has moved on to places unknown.

DS used to have "Air Ants". There was quite a few of them. They were invisible, of course, and the numbers varied. There were a few mean ones, but most of them were good ants. We haven't heard about them in quite a while....

Re: Imaginary friends - Toddler moms
Yeah Jacob is going thru that phase now.. he likes to talk on my old cell phone alot to "BOB" and "DAVID" and once or twice he spoke to "SONNY" ... he just chats and chats and chats away... he knocked over his cup with juice off the table and told me "sonny" did it.
Usually I speak to them on the phone when he hands it to me. I think its so funny!!
