In a funk

Does anyone else feel like they are in a funk now that they are preggo?

I feel like I don't want to be bothered by anyone. My parents live on the same block as me and my mom expects me to stop by every night after work. Sometimes I just want to go home. Then they comment on how "mean" and "nasty" I am. Well, maybe if I got to go home and eat and relax, I wouldn't be so nasty. And my grandma comes to my apartment at least once a week to criticize everything. I just can't take it anymore.

YES! I know exactly how you feel. I feel like I am finally coming out of my funk. For the past few weeks I've been such a crank! I started crying in bed hysterical the other night because all I wanted to do was go to sleep and DH was snoring and keeping me awake.

It happens to the best of us!

i get in a bad mood so easy, anything DH does or doesn't do pisses the crap out of me. i can't help it.

LOL yes I canceld 2 times on a friend for the past 2 weekends b/c I'm just not in the mood to meet people and she keeps trying to bring some sort of friend along.

I'm sorry your grandma and parents are making u frustrated!

I would do anything to have my grandma frustrating me right now. She passed away a year & a half ago, and I miss her so much. I know I get frustrated also, especially @ my Dh but always remember how precious family is.

I definitely have less patience than usual (& I didn't have much to begin with!)

If I were you, I could not not deal with daily visits right after work. That would annoy me if I wasn't PG. And the criticizing - no way could I handle that without blowing up. You must be a saint!
