In hiding- Beta Question- UPDATED with BETA #3
I'm posting under a fake name because there are people on here that know me IRL, but I'm a little nervous and wanted to know what your experiences were.
I've been TTC for 2 1/2 years and we FINALLY saw that magical BFP. I have no idea when I O'd because I wasn't really tracking this month (go F-ing figure). Anyway, I called my RE and scheduled a Beta. Follow-up #s (48 hours later) were not so great....
Beta 1= 558
Progesterone= 13.3
Beta 2= 886
Progesterone= 9
They had me start crinone ASAP and I had another beta this morning. Anyone have any experience with a slow rise and still have a viable pregnancy????
UPDATE:
Just got my 3rd Beta back....
Beta= 1303
Prog= 13
Still not doubling...only a 47% increase. Dr. reviewed the #s and said its ok but wants to see me tomorrow or Wed for u/s. I'm glad my progesterone went up though...I guess small victories?

Yes, my betas did not double and I had a healthy baby. My first was 300 something and my second was in the 500's. Third beta in 900s.

Your beta should double in 2-3 days - and yours did. Or it would if there was 3 days in there. Plus, the higher they get, the longer it takes to double. I wouldn't worry about your numbers at all. See what the 3rd beta is. Are they doing an u/s then, too?

Your numbers seem decent. They started out high so that is good. I used an online doubling calculator and it says betas should double every 31-72 hours. I too am worried about my BETAS if you scroll down to my updated post you will see. Use the calculator and put in the date and times and see what your doubling times are.

I did:
Results
Doubling Time (Hours): 86.26
not so great.
If I use the results from my first Beta to now, its a 78.46 doubling time. Idk I guess we'll see what they say tomorrow at the u/s.

Thanks. This is the farthest I have come so I hope it sticks. IF brain will never let me believe it even if it does.
Sorry your times are kinda high but it does say betas can be out of these times also. If we were normal preg people we would have just POAS and wouldn't know our BETAs and have to wait until like an 8w US. Hopefully its just early and everything will catch up. You started out very high. I hope you get some good news at your US or next BETA. Hang in there.

Not exactly....I only went through IF treatments for a little over a year. We were TTC for over a year on our own before we went to the RE. We were unexplained so I guess whatever issue there was worked itself out...I hope!!
I feel a little guilty about it, but I also feel incredibly blessed. We saw a sac today and everything looks like its in the right place. Seriously it was such a relief!! RE said she's going to stop doing hcg because everything looked good at the the u/s today. I'm still cautiously optimistic but I'm just going to enjoy today!!
