THAT is something I understand. It has been ridiculously hot here in Tay-has since March. My ankles have been MIA ever since.

Cooking here too. Just me and the kids for dinner tonight (DH working late), so I think cereal is a great dinner!

I actually just got home from a long road trip in a car with terrible A/C I literally RAN into the bedroom and put shorts & tank on
THANK GOD FOR A/C!!!!!!! (when it works!!)
oh and the 1st thing to go in this type of heat is anything that needs to be oven cooked. NOT happening! I would rather eat cereal for dinner

Personally I lose my humility. I wander my house in tank tops that I have NO business wearing - but I simply do not care!
I don't use the kitchen when it's stifling. I fire up the grill CONSTANTLY.

Seriously most of my house "rules"...we have CAC in all the rooms except the basement and our four season sunroom. Which is the kids domain....when it's this hot I let them watch TV in the living room and snack in there too...where normally they are not allowed to do that.

Not too much. I keep the AC on 24/7 and the house is so cold that nothing really affects me. I pretty much stick to my normal routine.
I don't like running around with the kids and doing errands in the heat. I try to do shopping, etc. at night when it cools down and I can go alone.

I am not sure if this is along the lines of the OP's question but blow drying my hair is the very first thing to go. To me, there is no greater luxury than the feeling of walking around with damp, freshly washed hair.

I am a cook, but I refuse to turn on the oven even with the air conditioner on. So tonight we are having the Perdue Done it baked breaded chicken cutlets I will heat in the microwave with a salad. Last night we went out to dinner .I also try to not do laundry either on a day like today. I alos let me hair drip dry and it goes in a pony tail.
