in what order do you do these things?
if there is an order.
i'm about to start saving money for the following:
* new driveway * new sidewalks * re-grading (i think that's what it's called) * new fence * new windows/doors/siding
yes, a long list. my house needs love.
is there a rhyme or reason as to which i should aim for first?

New windows/siding/doors - will save money on heating/cooling costs Regrading - many of the other projects sound like they will installed on the ground, so the ground needs to be where you want it first. New fence - for me, I would do the fence. We have a dog and DC, so I would want them to have an enclosed place. Sidewalks - public use, so probably more of a liability than driveway. Driveway - you can always drive on broken driveway, or even no driveway for a while, until you get around to fixing it.

I would do:
* new windows/doors/siding * re-grading * new driveway * new sidewalks * new fence
Windows/siding/doors is most important IMO because that will save you on your energy bills.

Re: in what order do you do these things?
I agree with everyone about the order. Just one thing, depending on where the fence is.....if the fence will be near the driveway, meaning if you open a gate and then there is more driveway. I was told that we would have to get that fencing done first because they would have to dig down for the posts of the fence. So if you had the driveway done first, they might damage the driveway to dig for the posts for the fence. So our contractor had recommend the posts being put in by the driveway and have that part of the fencing done first, then he would do the driveway, walkways and stoop all at the same time. Happy saving!

I might disagree, depending on where the footings for the fence are going to go. Our fence footings are nowhere near our driveway. I would probably be more concerned about the guys damaging my new fence while putting in the new driveway and sidewalks.
I would do
windows regrading (unless you are doing it around the foundation because of leaks. If so, I might bump this up to #1) sidewalk driveway fence
Unless you have an animal or child and need the fence sooner.

While it may be best to do windows first, you really want to check to see if you actually NEED new windows.
How old are the windows?

Agreed. You would need to know where the footings are first.
