Re: Indoor Activities ( Fall things to do)
GREAT List!!! Lets do one a week - that should get us threw the winter!! I love the Bayard Arboritum-we picked up beautiful pine cones last year and dipped them in glue & glitter and made ornaments for the christmas tree!
Tell me about the Kidz Connection open play-how much is it and is it fun and which days is it on? Thanks!!

Re: Indoor Activities ( Fall things to do)
There is also a firefighters museum over by LICM & the Cradle of Aviation
We still head down to the beach and build sandcastles and whatnot in the fall. I just dress them warm, but they love it.
I find that local park playgrounds are pretty empty during the day now that kids are back in school.
Tackapusha in Seaford is a good size for toddlers.
Link to Town of Hempstead Children's Activities
Link to LICVB Calendar of Events Jola (Kotka) and I used to work there and we know how hard they work to include all the events they find out about in the calendar. They don't just rely on info sent to them, they are constantly looking at community papers and other calendars to get things to include.
