Inexpensive ideas for home party for a 3 yo girl
What are some things I can do for my daughter's bday party that aren't too expensive?
For food, I will be serving appetizer/snack foods: mini sandwiches, hummus and chips, cheese and crackers, fruit bowls, mini meatballs, and soup or chili.
for dessert, I will have a cake and a cupcake station for kids to ice and decorate their own cupcakes.
but as for activites, I'm not sure what I should do and don't want to spend to much money hiring someone. My other daughter will be having an arts and crafts party in january (their big xmas present will be a new "art room"), so I didn't want it to be too focussed on arts and craft stuff. other ideas?
and any ideas for gift bags?

Is it a themed party? Nick Jr. has some great free printable party games on their website.
We just had DD's bday at our house this week. The kids had a great time just running and playing. The only game we played was musical chairs.

What is the theme? You could do pin the cherry (or something else) on the cupcake, spoon races, sack races, kiddie bingo, tattoos, drop the clothes pins in a jar...
