Taco bar is always a hit. I’ll usually do chips with an assortment of salsa, guacamole and queso as the app to tie into the theme. And coronas and maybe a pitcher of sangria because it sticks to the theme and limits how much alcohol you need to buy.
Sounds really good. 2 people will be making pitchers of mixed drinks so I will have that. I will just get a bottle of Vodka, Wine, Beer and Fireball for something extra. Many bring their own stuff too.

Definitely pulled pork. Google pernil recipe (Spanish pork) so cheap and sooo good. Be sure to stab pork to death and make lots of holes before you cook that way the seasoning gets in there nice and good.
Make one or two roast porks (usually $10 or less per roast), grab one or two roast chickens from BJs/Costcos for variety, some cut up onions, lettuce, tomato, etc and do a taco bar. Easy, quick, delicious.
Or alternatively: order sandwiches from BJs and make a ziti or pasta salad for sides. That's always a hit and pretty easy/inexpensive.
When my family/friends do Super Bowl or sports parties we almost always do potlucks so someone brings something. I don't see anything wrong with you asking the guests to bring a dish. The way I see it, the host has enough on their mind with cleaning/decorating /entertaining the least we can do is contribute to food and drink.
Good luck sounds fun!

BJs hero is one of the things that we have on our list as they are so inexpensive.
Great ideas, thanks :)
