Infant Sleeping Issues
My DS is 10.5months and has been horrible with sleeping at night. He starts off sleeping in his crib and ends up in the bed with us. That isn't the problem (well it is but not what this post is about). He's VERY fussy through out the night: kicking, hitting, rolling, whining, etc. He just doesn't sleep good anymore. He's not fully awake while he's doing all of this but I can't get him to calm down.
I should also point out that he got the flu shot last month, has had a double ear infection for the last 2 wks and is teething.
Has this happened to anyone else? I'm more or less looking for hope that he'll get over this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
TIA!

Re: Infant Sleeping Issues
hmmm I am not sure I have much advice. What happens that he ends up sleeping in the bed with you? Does he wake up crying? Whats the issue there?
As for the restlessness, I am not sure. Is he half awake? Crying?
eta - katie is a pretty restless sleeper , she rolls around a lot and maybe whines at least once a night.

Sleeping in my bed is my own fault. He wakes up everynight around 10:30 and instead of listening to him cry I make up the excuse that he's sick so I'll bring him into our bed. Yes he wakes up screaming and I think its due to the ear infection. So instead of fighting with him to go back to sleep in his own bed...I bring him in ours. I know I need to break this habit and I'm going to start tonight.
He is half awake while restless and whines but doesn't fully cry. I'm worried that he has night terrors (DH had them).
Hmmm...I might be thinking too much into this. He just needs to sleep in his crib and I'm going to have to get used to him crying. I guess I just feel bad thinking he does have nigt terrors or his ears are hurting him.
