Yes! My initials were MKR, but really MR since nobody really uses the middle name. While nobody ever said anything to me, it made me CRINGE every time I saw my initials.

DS is MAP lol. We thought it was cute, and hope that one day he travels the world!

We don't know the sex yet to DC#2 so we will see lol.

My maiden name started with a "D" - my first name is Vanessa - these initials resulted in VD. I *ALWAYS* used my middle initial (M) with everything.

Our sons initials are JRB.

My friend's daughters initials are PMS. She didn't feel there was an issue with it. I personally couldn't do it and the initials did play a role for me.

We definitely thought about it, but it wasn't a make or break issue when it came to naming DD, and it wont be when we name this child.

I really like the name Sebastian, but for our first child we really wanted his middle name to be Thomas....his initials would have been

We almost didn't name my DD because of that. Her Name is Peyton Elizabeth and our last name starts w/W

So her initials are PEW. I said to my DH no one cares about that stuff and when do you ever use your initials except on monogramming. AND eventually when she gets married it will change so we did it anyway and to this day (she's 4) no one ever said anything about it.

It wasn't something that we "planned" but my son's initial's are BMW. We loved the name Brandon and I loved the name Matthew as a first or middle name. My friend suggested we name him Brandon Matthew and when my husband realized he would be BMW, that sealed the deal

We are having a and his initials will be MPP (same as DH).
If we were having a girl hers would be DDP.

hmm, you never really see full initials unless your monogramming everything- but that doesn't really happen till your married and it's a combination of your names anyway.

My initials are SPA (were SPS) and DH's are BAA. If we have a son, it would be DAA and our daugter would be either DPA / DMA or FPA / FMA.

Obviously my mother never thought about this. My name that I use everyday is Bonnie-Jean, so that's BJ. Thanks mom. My maiden name started with a G. Now it's an E. I tell my friends that I went from being a giver to an expert.

So, my funny name story...

My mom wanted to name me Ericka. She loved the name. My father hated it. Mom wouldn't budge.

Then, one day my father realized what my initials would be.

Mom happily took Ericka off the table.
