Insanity or 30 Day shred?
Which one do you prefer? Thoughts? Experience? TIA
P.S. I may be posting a lot on this board in the next week because I am recently trying to jumpstart my weight loss so I apologize for all the annoying questions!!!

Insanity-Hands down.
The 30 day shred was ok in my opinion. It was a quick workout but I never felt like it was enough. I LOVE the insanity workouts and still use them for some of my cardio only days!

i use the 30 day shred and i like it cause its a quick work out and since i hate to work out and dont really have time its perfect for me. If you diet while on it you will see reults much quicker.

Insanity or 30 Day shred?
I think it depends on your current level of fitness. If you are already in shape then insanity but if you are more just startign out then 30 day shred.
Insanity is just that INSANE. And IMO not for a beginner.

I agree. If you are not in shape there is no way you will be able to do Insanity. I did the 30 shred before starting Insanity, and I still had a hard time the first week. Now that I've been doing Insanity for a couple of weeks I can do all three levels of the 30 day shred in one workout and l think they are easy in comparison to Insanity.

Re: Insanity or 30 Day shred?
I absolutely HATE working out! I tried the 30 day shred and it was really hard for me. But in 9 days, I noticed a real difference in how strong I was and how the workout was getting easier BUT the reason I quit was because I started gaining weight because I was getting muscles and at that point of my diet I could not handle seeing weight gain of any type.

Insanity or 30 Day shred?
Ok, thanks ladies. I like the idea of starting off slow with the 30 day shred then moving to Insanity. I don't want to overwhelm myself when I first start. Thanks!!

Ditto!
And I disagree - you can do insanity as a beginner. Thats what I love about insanity, you do YOUR max repeats, so it works for everybody.

This. I sell the beachbody programs and I sell Insanity to beginners all the time. Its easy to modify.

I think it would be pretty worthless to buy the program when you can only do 2-3 of each portion.

If you can do the 30 day shred you can do more than 2-3 reps in insanity

I agree, I started off with 30 day shred and have moved on to Insanity. I read the OP's post as she is a true beginner, aka hasn't exercised in a while.
