Insatiable Hunger
I am 7.5 weeks pregnant and I feel this insatiable hunger. I'll eat breakfast and still feel hungry. Lunch and dinner the same. It's crazy!
I had a stomach virus 2 weeks ago where I didn't eat for about 5 days and even after it took a bit for me to really start eating. I thought maybe my body was trying to catch up calorie wise but now I'm not sure.
Anyone else have this? My clothes are already too tight and I don't want to gain an excessive amt of weight. With my 1st, I gained 24 lbs and I'd like to aim for this again. Doesn't help that I started out this pregnancy about 12 pounds heavier, uggh!

Re: Insatiable Hunger
I had it with my DD, I couldn't eat enough!! I was hungry, ravenous, ALL day long. It was crazy. After a few weeks it passed. In the meantime, I ate!

Re: Insatiable Hunger
I was like this in my first trimester with this pregnancy. I would pack 2 sandwiches for lunch and have one at 12:00 and the other at 4:00 and snack in between. Eating constantly was the only thing that kept the nausea at bay.
I did the whole "eating healthy, small meals" etc. my first pregnancy and I felt like crap a lot. This time I ate when I was hungry, and it was a much better experience for me.
I did gain a lot of weight my first trimester though. I focused more on how I was feeling than the number on the scale. I wasn't overweight to begin with though, so the extra pounds weren't that much of an issue for me.

I could have written this word for word!
