Autistic kids linked to same sperm donor
This is why I personally don't believe that vaccines cause Autism. I think that it's due to genetics, but that is JMO.

Not surprising. There definitely is a genetic link to autism, that much is known. Not every child who develops it has relatives with it, but many do.
I'm a little nervous about DS because I am pretty sure one of his relatives has a mild form of it (never diagnosed). So I really hope he didn't get these genes. So far, so good.
I think part of the reason people are quick to blame vaccines is that it's hard to accept parental genes may have been responsible. Sorry if I upset anyone, but I do think this is true. Not that I would rule vaccines out entirely as a risk factor either, I just don't think they are solely to blame.

If this is in fact true, that a child has the gene and then something triggers it to come about, if it wasn't a vaccine that did it, could something else be doing it? An illness? Toxins in the air or water? We don't know the answer to this question, but I sure hope that soon they can find out exactly what causes Autism, find a way to screen for it, and of course, find a cure
