Interesting posters?
Have you ever thought that a particular poster was interesting and FMed them to get to know them?
I have found certain people very interesting and have FMed them but others haven't (was too shy).
But i guess my question is if you ever found a poster interesting enough that you would FM them? Whether it be because of of their job, where they live, what they know, etc?

Yes I have -- and from one I got no response and I felt kinda stupid, as if she thought I was flirting or something!!  
But a few other people ...yes, and I have gotten to know them a little better, and some people....and don't want to know any better than I do from what they post.....

I've only sent FM's on LIW, about wedding-related stuff - like vendors.
I've received FM's - and I'm always conscious to answer them in a timely manner.

I dont think there is any point to it because it will only annoy me at the same time they are patting themselves on the back for succeeding in being obnoxious.

I would disagree with them in posts if I didn't sagree with what they are saying...to a point. I've seen some posts turn really nasty and that kind of stuff isn't worth it to me.

AHHHH and you're the PERFECT example...Of two people who at first thought were obnoxious, got to know each other in FM and became friends!
