Internal and the end of pregnancy..
When do the internal sonos start again? I have a sono at 34 weeks to see if the baby is still breech. Will this be an internal or will I start internals at 36 weeks?

DS was breech at 32 weeks as well. At 34 or 35 I think they did an external sono and he had turned. They started doing internal exams at 36 weeks.
ETA: You shouldnt have an internal SONO again. They only do those generally when the baby is really small.
Now you wont even have to drink water and you will see everything, they are taking up so much real estate

I asked my dr. and she said the internals start at 36 weeks.

Internals mean - uh hem...hands and fingers, not sono wands... 
They are checking (usually starting at 36 weeks or so) for dilation and effacement...
If you DO get a sono, it will be on the belly...

Well it all depends on ur doctor. Mine did a sonogram and an internal at 34 weeks.

I had one internal at 38 weeks...my next pregnancy, I will be refusing internals, unnecessary and painful, no thanks

My doctor didn't start them until 38 weeks for first timers!!!!! My baby was breech also and my water broke on 37 weeks and 6 days so I never got them...until the hospital actually. But still, I was happy for awhile!

My doctors wait too until 38 weeks for first time Moms. I just had my first last week and I was not at all dilated, and despite my fears, it really didn't hurt.
