Introducing apples/applesauce- home made
What types of apples do you use? I want to introduce apples in the next week or two and was curious what type to use. TIA

I make mine with a combo of different apples. I use Macintosh and golden delicious and depending on what else looks good I add Jona golds or Roma.

Oh that is a great idea! I didn't think of mixing types. Thanks!

I use a mix of apples and really like Golden Delicious, Mutsu, Cortland and Cameo.
I get most of them from the farmers market in Manhattan - Red Jacket Orchards.
