Invaluable Kitchen Item?

whats your fave kitchen item that you think is invaluable?

mine is definitely my cuisinart mini prep plus

its a mini cuisinart- it chops things (but doesnt turn them into liquid like the magic bullet) and it grinds things as well. I just love it and I even just used it now to grind coffee. Best gift I ever received as far as kitchen items are concrnedExternal Image

My instant hot.

It's on the side of the faucet and dispenses steaming hot water on demand.

I also nominate my humble Cuisinart. I no longer have to grate cheese or carrots by hand!

Re: Invaluable Kitchen Item?

Our coffee pot with automatic timer and turn off. I'm a wreck without my coffee. We used to have a coffee pot without the automatic turn off and I used to worry daily at work...."did i turn the coffee pot off?"
