invitation etiquette question
I am sending out invitations for my parent's 40th anniversary luncheon. My mom wants it on the invite that they do not want gifts. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to say this without sounding tacky? Thanks.

Re: invitation etiquette question
Don't be surprised that they do get gifts though. I have been to 2 of these kind of parties. One we brought flowers and the other pajamas for an aunt that turned 90. I can't go someplace without bringing something. That is just how I am.

Re: invitation etiquette question
Thanks everyone. I'll put that. I have a feeling some people will bring something anyway too, but this way no one feels obligated to. . . .
