Invitation Help - opinions needed.
I did a great invitation for Joseph's pool party but then he changed his mind to a planterium party.
Anyway, I did the layout but something doesn't look right & I can't figure it out. Is it the font that's hard to read? Is it the colors? Too many planets? Is Saturn too big? What is it?
Help!

I think there's too much going on. Maybe try to bring Joseph and his spaceship into the focus more by watercoloring/muting the background a bit. it just seems like everything is fighting for attention right now.
I would also try for a more yellowish font to match the planet on the top right (Venus? lol). Oh, and a different, simpler font altogether!

the text on the right doesn't seem hard to read at all. the text under the spacecraft is slightly harder against the planet, tho. other than that.. GREAT JOB! very creative!

that invitation is AWESOME!!!!!!!! i actually like the saturn in the background. i was thinking maybe just make the back of the wording area solid black so it would be easier to read.

Oooo...much better!! (The first one...black background, white text)
How about just stars behind Joseph's head...the planets are taking away from that gorgeous face!!

Love the red font, because you can see the whole invite through the white background. I agree with maybe adding stars behind him, and making the planets smaller so they look further behind him!!
